Visual guide
Follow the numbered steps. Each one tells you what should be visible before you continue.
- 1Open Privacy & settings
- 2Review an AI connection
- 3Export or delete deliberately
Do it with the screen open
Three steps, one calm handoff.
Step 1Open this screenOpen Privacy & settings
The settings page explains account state, consent purposes, plan controls, and rights without exposing raw private records.
You should see: You can tell what is on, off, reversible, or still gated.
Step 2Review an AI connection
Claude, Codex, and other AI apps stay disconnected until a governed adapter, scope, and consent flow exists.
You should see: A connection is never implied by a static button, and no token is shown in the browser.
Step 3Export or delete deliberately
Use the rights controls to understand what will happen and whether the action can be recovered before you confirm.
You should see: A request reports status and a request ID rather than claiming completion early.
If the path breaks
If a rights request is blocked, keep the request ID and contact support; do not retry a destructive action blindly.
The help center never asks for a private source in a public form.
