Why you should join the Adyen Storage Team This team is part of our Platform Engineering Solution. The purpose of Platform Engineering is to enable Adyen engineers to autonomously build and support secure, scalable and reliable applications with high speed and quality through a common technology ecosystem. As a storage engineer of our Storage team in Chicago, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining data storage systems and solutions.This role involves the end-to-end management of our organization's data storage infrastructure. This includes strategic design for scalability, hands-on implementation and integration, continuous performance monitoring, capacity planning, security, and troubleshooting. It also requires proactive maintenance with updates, backups, disaster recovery, and planning for future growth by evaluating and recommending new technologies for data availability, reliability, and efficiency. Compensation is based on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more. In-office expectations This role is based in our Chicago office. We're an office-first company and expect employees to work in-office at least 3 days a week on average.
