  • Understanding of PCB design fundamentals & technical tradeoffs
  • Be an active team member working closely with other EE design engineers and other groups
  • Ability to analyze a design, component data sheet, user guide, or schematic to make insightful decisions
  • Prior experience with Python / MATLAB for test automation and data visualization
  • Experience in motor control and/or RF/analog design is a plus
  • A big plus if you have experience in the automotive or Lidar industry

Job description

About us: Aeva’s mission is to bring the next wave of perception to a broad range of applications from automated driving to industrial robotics, consumer electronics, consumer health, security, and beyond. Aeva is transforming autonomy with its groundbreaking sensing and perception technology that integrates all key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip in a compact module. Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.    Role Overview: Aeva is seeking to hire a talented and motivated Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our EE Hardware Development Team. The EE HW team owns the design, build and bring-up of Aeva’s mixed-signal PCBs. As a V&V Hardware Engineer, you will be expected to perform a wide range of tasks in PCBA or sub-circuit bringup, characterization, verification, and validation.
