  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Hardware, Software) to review requirements, ensure testability, and drive timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in defining and refining the overall V&V strategy and best practices under the guidance of the V&V Manager.
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Verification and Validation, Test Engineering, or Quality Assurance for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Experience working with electromechanical or optical systems (experience with Lidar or similar sensor technology is a strong plus).
  • Strong proficiency in Python for test scripting, automation, and data analysis.
  • Proven experience contributing to or implementing test software architecture and frameworks.
  • Experience with data analysis techniques and tools for handling large datasets (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, MATLAB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments and data acquisition hardware.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability in report generation.
  • Highly analytical, methodical approach to problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.

Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.   Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our team, focusing on the rigorous testing and quality assurance of our cutting-edge LiDAR products.
