Job description

About us: Aeva’s mission is to bring the next wave of perception to a broad range of applications from automated driving to industrial robotics, consumer electronics, consumer health, security, and beyond. Aeva is transforming autonomy with its groundbreaking sensing and perception technology that integrates all key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip in a compact module. Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.    Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to be a key contributor in the robust development and lifecycle maintenance of our next-generation Lidar sensor products. This role requires the practical application of detailed systems engineering processes to ensure that design and implementation adhere to stringent automotive standards. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining work products for ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) compliance, ensuring requirements traceability and robust analysis. This position requires experience in sensor technology, the use of systems engineering tools and a strong background in automotive systems standards.
