Job description
Attio is the CRM for agentic revenue. Designed for the most ambitious go-to-market teams, it gives companies the power to understand every customer, automate at scale, and build their go-to-market motion exactly as they need. We've raised $116M from some of the world's best investors: GV (Google Ventures), Redpoint, Balderton, Point Nine, and 01A. We hire builders who thrive on complex technical challenges, hold themselves to a high bar, and genuinely care about delighting the people who use what they build. The team here brings sharp judgement, real craft, and the drive to do exceptional work. We're obsessed about the details and energized by the frontier. If you want to do the best work of your career, this is the right place. ABOUT THE ROLE Our Solutions team helps customers turn Attio into the system that powers their go-to-market motion. We’re looking for a Forward Deployed GTM Engineer to work directly with fast-growing customers to design and build those systems. Our customers are often smaller teams rather than large enterprises, but as they scale, the GTM problems they’re solving can become technically complex quickly. You’ll become deeply embedded in how a customer’s business operates, from their sales and customer processes to their data and wider GTM stack. You’ll then turn that context into working solutions with Attio at the core. This is a hands-on building role. You won’t just advise customers on what they should do. You’ll understand the problem, form an opinion on the right approach, and build and deploy the solution. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Work directly with fast-growing customers with complex GTM and technical needs, understanding how their business, teams, data, and systems operate - Architect their GTM system with Attio at its core, spanning CRM structure, data models, integrations, enrichment, automation, and AI - Turn customer requirements and sometimes messy business processes into clear, scalable technical solutions - Lead time-boxed build projects and ship real working solutions, including objects and relationships, workflows, sequences, automations, integrations, and SDK apps - Build custom API integrations and automations using JavaScript, AI coding tools, n8n, Zapier, Make, and other tools across the modern GTM stack - Connect Attio with the rest of a customer's data and GTM ecosystem, including warehouses, CDPs, enrichment providers, sales tools, marketing systems, and customer success platforms - Work directly with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success teams to understand what they're trying to accomplish and translate those needs into what you build - Partner closely with Attio Customer Success Managers as the technical counterpart on shared customers, identifying where customers are blocked or where their GTM system needs to evolve - Bring patterns and insights from customer work back to Product and Engineering, helping shape what Attio builds next - Help develop repeatable approaches, tooling, and engagement models that allow us to solve increasingly sophisticated customer problems at scale WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 2+ years of experience building GTM systems, whether as a GTM Engineer, RevOps Engineer, developer, technical consultant, or in a similarly hands-on technical role - Deep hands-on experience with GTM tooling and a strong understanding of how Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success teams actually operate - Strong understanding of CRM architecture and data modeling, including how business processes translate into objects, relationships, fields, workflows, and automation - Technical fluency across APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript, integrations, and data pipelines, with the ability to build and debug solutions yourself - Experience working with modern GTM and data tooling such as Segment, RudderStack, Clay, Hightouch, Polytomic, n8n, Zapier, Make, or equivalent tools - Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to build integrations, automations, and reusable tooling - Strong customer instincts and the ability to take an ambiguous business problem, understand what a customer is actually trying to accomplish, and form an opinion on the right solution - Comfort moving quickly across different customers, problems, and technology stacks rather than working on a small number of long enterprise deployments - Genuine curiosity about how AI is changing GTM systems and a habit of experimenting with new tools and approaches What Does the Hiring Process Look Like? 1.
