Job description
The Business Analyst analyzes business processes and applicable automated systems and develops As-Is and To-Be descriptions. In this role, you will play a key part in Salesforce-related projects, leading requirement gathering and analysis activities, preparing and delivering communications, participating in testing, and supporting solution design for internal and external initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: • Elicit and document business requirements for Salesforce projects, enhancements, and integrations. • Analyze and evaluate current business processes and propose Salesforce-driven solutions. • Prepare deliverables such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, process flows, and interface designs. • Translate complex technical information into clear business language to bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, architects, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance. • Support the project manager, product manager, and wider team in planning deliverables, scope, schedule, and execution. • Participate in testing activities, including test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management. Other qualities that you’ll need to be a fit for this role include: • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). • Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in Salesforce projects (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or other Salesforce modules). • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Salesforce solutions. • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, configuration, workflows, and integration points. • Experience producing and analyzing As-Is and To-Be documentation. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs. • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Consultant) will be an advantage. • Understanding of Education background is a plus.
