- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are advantageous but not required)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value
- Commercial mindset with an interest in sales and customer outcomes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-changing environment
- Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies (including SharePoint Online)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and identity technologies (e.g. Entra ID)
- Understanding of identity, access and permissions management
- Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP, DHCP)
- Knowledge of data protection, backup, migration, and governance concepts
- Understanding of SharePoint architecture and cloud/hybrid environments
- Broader awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is beneficial

About the role: As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you will act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, partnering closely with Account Managers to support new business and growth opportunities. You will take a consultative approach, helping customers understand how AvePoint solutions can address their technical and business needs.
