Join the Know Your Customer Technology Team at Binance, where we're building a state-of-the-art platform that ensures seamless customer onboarding. We're all about launching innovative products, integrating compliance vendors globally, and responsibly using AI/ML technologies. Be part of a team that's leading the charge in innovation and compliance in the fintech world! Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting KYC verification, identity authentication, and compliance workflows. • Lead the architecture and implementation of high-performance distributed systems capable of processing millions of global user verification requests. • Build and optimise risk assessment pipelines and case management systems supporting compliance operations. • Develop and maintain internal tooling and dashboards using React and TypeScript when needed, with a primary focus on backend engineering. • Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with third-party KYC/AML vendors and internal data sources. • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, with emphasis on backend, data processing, AI integration and security. • Improve system reliability, performance, observability and engineering efficiency through automation and best practices. • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, with emphasis on backend, data processing and security. • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code while conducting thoughtful code reviews. • Continuously optimise system performance, scalability, throughput and developer experience. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. • 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus. • Solid backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot), Go, or similar backend technologies. • Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM-powered tools into production systems - including model serving, inference pipelines, or AI-assisted automation workflows. • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices at scale. • Strong understanding of relational databases, caching technologies, message queues and distributed system fundamentals. • Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
