We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled QA Engineering Manager to lead our QA team in ensuring the quality, stability, and security of our Bitcoin and blockchain-based applications. As a QA Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing test strategies, mentoring QA engineers, and working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to maintain high-quality standards. What You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities): - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. - Define and oversee the implementation of test strategies, ensuring coverage for functional, performance, security, and regression testing. - Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for blockchain-based applications and APIs. - Establish best practices for QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product quality. - Work closely with developers to review features, identify testability concerns, and ensure proper validation of new functionalities. - Manage bug tracking and reporting processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects. - Coordinate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize execution in cloud-based environments. - Stay updated with blockchain and fintech QA trends, security vulnerabilities, and best practices. - Communicate QA metrics, progress, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement. What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications): - 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role; preferably in fintech, blockchain, or security-focused industries. - Strong background in automation testing frameworks and methodologies. - Deep understanding of Bitcoin and blockchain technology. - Experience with API testing tools and scripting languages. - Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. - Hands-on experience with performance testing tools. - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first, and collaborative environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset. - Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills. 🔒 Stay Safe from Job Scams All official Blockstream communication will come from an @blockstream.com email address.
