What you'd do
- Serve as the primary legal and regulatory advisor for new product launches, features, and initiatives on the global platform being involved end to end in the launch of new products
- Conduct regulatory gap analyses for target jurisdictions to assess the permissibility and risk profile of product offerings in markets where the exchange has not yet obtained local licenses
- Develop and maintain product compliance frameworks, playbooks, and decision matrices for the global product team
- Advise Product, Tech, Business and Fiat teams on regulatory constraints, user eligibility requirements, geo-restrictions, and risk mitigation strategies aligning these with internal guidelines
- Assess regulatory classification of products (spot trading, derivatives, lending, staking, earn products, launchpad offerings, copy trading, etc.) across jurisdictions
- Monitor global regulatory developments affecting product permissibility and proactively flag risks and opportunities to the business
- Coordinate with Licensing Counsel and external advisors to align product launch timelines with licensing strategy and regulatory engagement
- Support the development of internal approval processes (product governance review processes, sign-off workflows) for new product rollouts
- Prepare regulatory risk assessments and internal memos to support product decisions by senior leadership
