  • Work closely with our Engineering team (Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems), conceptualize opto-mechanical designs and maintain existing subassemblies. This will include working in the lab to build and test optics equipment.

  • Collaborate directly with cross functional teams to specify system requirements, implement designs, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation (eg. drawings, ECOs, etc) to enable effective knowledge transfer throughout the company.

As an optomechanical engineer on the Continuous Improvement team, you will help us design, build, and sustain groundbreaking additive manufacturing solutions. This role is focused on our optical solutions and ensuring continuous production. The Continuous Improvement team has a wide variety of responsibilities, including leading new product introduction (NPI) with Manufacturing, developing new product variations, designing new features for current products, and adapting current products for long-term production in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a member of a tight-knit and cross-functional hardware team, you'd contribute ideas and develop practical solutions to an evolving list of never before seen challenges. Your work will help ensure that we deliver great products and delight our customers while changing the world of additive manufacturing. This is an in office role with 4-5 days expected in office in Sunnyvale California. Flexible working from home is allowed and expected during different phases of our projects. This position is not eligible for current Visa sponsorship. This position is not eligible for relocation.
