About the Role We're a fast-growing, Y Combinator–backed B2B SaaS startup building AI-powered automation for sales workflows in distribution and manufacturing. Our platform helps sales teams eliminate manual quoting and order processing by intelligently understanding customer requests, matching products, and integrating with enterprise ERP and CRM systems. We're looking for an AI/LLM Engineer to join our small, high-velocity team in Munich. You'll own end-to-end AI systems - from data pipelines to deployed agents - and directly shape the product at a critical stage of our growth. Visa sponsorship is available. What You'll Do • Design, build, deploy, and optimize AI agents across the full stack, end-to-end • Work with embeddings and fine-tune LLMs for classification and reranking tasks • Optimize algorithms for intelligent product search • Apply RLHF and DPO techniques to align LLMs with human feedback • Build and maintain data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently • Contribute to backend scalability, stability, and performance improvements What We're Looking For Must-haves: • 2+ years of software engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, embeddings, ML, and AI agents • Demonstrated experience building and scaling data and ML pipelines, including large-scale unstructured data • Experience with PostgreSQL and vector databases (e.g. Weaviate, Pinecone) • Strong computer science fundamentals • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Munich, Germany Nice to have: • Full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) • Hands-on experience with RLHF and DPO for LLM alignment Location • On-site in Munich, Germany • Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates Compensation & Benefits • Salary: €90,000 – €200,000 per year, depending on experience • Opportunity to join a well-funded, early-stage team at a pivotal moment of growth • Work on high-impact AI problems in the enterprise software and automation space Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
