YOUR IMPACT Join a small team building the next generation of Cyber Security products from the ground up. Led by industry veterans with a proven track record of success - you will get to architect, build, and deliver hugely impactful products with this world class team. You will have the opportunity to grow your career and skills along with the company from the very start. ROLE OVERVIEW As a graduate level research intern in cyber attack and defense, you will take on a focused research problem in threat detection to working prototype on our next-gen security platform. You will study how modern adversaries operate, translate that understanding into detection logic and research tooling, and work directly with the researchers and engineers building the platform. This role offers the opportunity to see academic research meet production security at an early-stage company. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, System/Network Security, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date by 2028 - Coursework, research, or project experience in one or more of the following: cyber security, malware, network traffic, web and vulnerability exploitation, large-scale data analysis, or machine learning - Hands-on familiarity with one or more of the following areas: threat hunting, malware analysis and sandboxing, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, offensive security, machine learning, or penetration tests - Working understanding of modern attacks and evasion techniques, malware behaviors and countermeasures, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and cyber kill chain/TTPs is a plus - Strong proficiency in Python programming and system programming with C/C++/Rust/Go is a big plus - Great passion for security research; strong communication and documentation skills We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace where everyone can do their best work.
