Job description

DEMO ENGINEER, EMEA   THE OPPORTUNITY DDN is seeking a Demo Engineer, EMEA to help build and scale our AI Demo Centre of Excellence across the region.   Based in Madrid, you will develop engaging and repeatable demonstrations that showcase DDN’s AI and data capabilities to customers, partners, and executive audiences. You will help define the experience at DDN’s European Executive Briefing Centre, translating complex technologies into clear, outcome-focused stories for our clients.   You’ll blend technical creativity, AI, automation, and compelling storytelling to design reusable demos and industry use cases. Your work will empower our go to market teams to deliver impactful experiences throughout EMEA.   WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design and deliver executive-ready demonstrations that highlight DDN’s AI and data portfolio. - Build a comprehensive library of reusable AI demos and industry-specific use cases for the European Executive Briefing Centre and EMEA teams. - Create demo narratives, scripts, workflows, and supporting materials that showcase customer value. - Automate demo environment creation, configuration, and reset to ensure reliability, repeatability, and scalability. - Use generative AI, AI agents, and automation to accelerate demo development and personalize experiences. - Manage the ongoing evolution of the European Executive Briefing Centre’s demo portfolio. - Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to incorporate new technologies and customer success stories into the demo portfolio. - Enable and coach Sales Engineers to deliver demos confidently and consistently. - Support strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and partner sessions. - Gather feedback and analyze engagement data to continually enhance demo effectiveness.   WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 3+ years of experience in demo engineering, solutions engineering, technical enablement, developer advocacy, technical marketing, or a related role. - Proven track record in building and delivering engaging technical demonstrations for customers or executive audiences. - Strong automation and scripting abilities, including experience with APIs, orchestration tools, or low-code platforms. - Practical knowledge of AI applications, data workflows, and modern software platforms. - Experience with or strong passion for generative AI, AI agents, or AI-assisted development. - Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technology in a clear, customer-focused manner. - Proven ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams. - Professional fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.   PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Experience building a demo program, innovation lab, or technical Centre of Excellence. - Expertise in creating demos around AI, data, analytics, or enterprise software. - Familiarity with Linux, containers, cloud environments, and APIs.
