Job description
We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Senior Software Engineer specializing in Test Automation to contribute to the quality engineering efforts for Infinia, DDN’s large-scale distributed data platform. In this role, you will work on validating distributed system components by developing test strategies, building automation, and executing performance and reliability tests. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality and continuous improvement in test coverage and processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and working on complex systems at scale. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QUALITY ENGINEERING & SYSTEM VALIDATION - Develop and execute system test plans for distributed system components such as scheduling, memory, I/O paths, and platform services. - Validate system functionality, data consistency, and multi-tenant behavior under different scenarios. - Assist in identifying gaps in test coverage and contribute to improving validation strategies.
