Job description

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy. Responsibilities • Design, program, integrate, and commission automation and control systems for gas-engineering projects, from early design through start-up and operational handover. • Develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing lines, including robotic systems, machine vision, material handling, and other advanced factory technologies. • Troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade in-house and third-party equipment to improve safety, reliability, productivity, and operator experience. • Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, production, and maintenance teams to translate operational needs into robust technical solutions. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including control narratives, functional descriptions, electrical or automation drawings, test procedures, and operating documentation; train end users when required. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechatronic, Computer, or a closely related Engineering discipline. • At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or the integration and commissioning of industrial equipment. • Practical experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, industrial networks, field instrumentation, and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, or similar. Experience programming ABB and/or KUKA industrial robots is highly desirable. • Experience with, or strong interest in, robotics, machine vision, automated manufacturing equipment, and/or process plants involving gases or other industrial utilities. • Fluent Spanish and English, with strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on commissioning skills in an international and fast-paced environment. Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life. We provide eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Perks include employee discounts to VRAI. All benefits offered are available starting your first day.  Diamond Foundry is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
