What you'd do

Technically lead the sustenance team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing Network Automation and Orchestration products.
Own the overall sustenance engineering lifecycle, including defect resolution, product enhancements, maintenance releases, and associated design, code, and unit/integration test artifacts.
Drive engineering excellence through effective debugging, root-cause analysis, code quality, regression testing, and automation of repetitive maintenance activities.
Analyse production issues and customer-reported defects, establish root causes, and drive timely resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Mentor team members on troubleshooting, design principles, coding standards, testing practices, and effective problem-solving.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, QA, Customer Support, and other engineering teams to ensure end-to-end resolution of product issues and successful delivery of enhancements.
Complete exposure to the entire Product Life Cycle (MUST HAVE)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in local and remote debugging
Microservices-based architecture and best practices
Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s, K3s) clusters, and Helm charts
Exposure to cloud application development
Sound data and information modelling techniques using YANG, UML, JSON, and related tools
Strong coding and debugging experience with Java or Golang
Linux OS proficiency, advanced data structures, and IPC mechanisms
Intricate understanding of multi-threading, routines, network programming, and object-oriented methodologies
Agile Development Model with CI/CD, Jenkins pipeline, and Git environment
Database concepts and deployment models: RDBMS, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MariaDB
Messaging services such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
Working experience with webhook and web sockets
OpenAPI, OpenConfig, NETCONF, Streaming Telemetry, GNMI, gRPC, and XMPP
