Job description
Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA. We are looking for a Fabricator to work in our manufacturing machine shop who will work closely with manufacturing teams to support tooling and production needs for our robot lines. Responsibilities: • Fabricate complex parts and assemblies • Provide feedback and solutions to improve designs and create efficiency • Assist Engineers and Technicians with their projects • Provide training to individuals who require use of the equipment in the shop. Including Engineers/Technicians/etc • Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipment • Maintain inventory of supplies and raw materials within the shop • Maintain an open and safe environment where teams can collaborate • Document and track workflow Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in a related industry • Strong welding and fabrication skills • Proficient with manual mills and manual lathes • Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge • Must be able to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment • Ability to understand engineering documentation • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills • Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive attitude Bonus Qualifications: • CATIA experience • CNC • JIRA The US base pay range for this full-time position is between $45/hr-$70/hr The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
