- Support NPI from early design through mass production, managing prototypes for test assembly, functionality, and performance validation.
- Partner with engineering teams to influence DFX and reduce cost and lead time at both the cell and pack level.
- Source and manage prototype, pilot, and production suppliers while meeting aggressive timelines.
- Own supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
- Lead capacity planning, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation for long-lead and critical battery components.
- Resolve supply disruptions decisively and prevent repeats.
- Act as the supply chain owner for battery cell and pack systems.
- Communicate sourcing strategies, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to technical and executive teams.
- Operate with urgency, data, and accountability in a fast-moving environment.

Bonus Qualifications: • Experience in robotics, EV, automotive, or high-volume electromechanical/battery products. • Engineering degree • Previous work at a startup or on a very lean team • Comfortable working directly with drawings, BOMs, and cost breakdowns. The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $220,000 annually. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
