Job description
EMPOWER EVERY EMPLOYEE. AI has changed how office workers get things done. For the 80% of the global workforce that doesn't sit at a desk, it has barely arrived. Flip is changing that. Flip is the #1 Frontline Agentic Operating System (OS) to build, automate, and orchestrate any frontline use case on a foundation of secure identity and comms with strong UX. In practice, that means one app where frontline workers in retail, manufacturing, and logistics access their systems, run their processes, and use AI. More than 1,000 brands trust Flip, and over two million people use it worldwide, at companies like Bosch, REWE, FORVIA HELLA, and Greif. Our mission is backed by more than $85M in funding from leading investors including Notion Capital, HV Capital, and LEA Partners. In August 2026, Notion Capital and HV Capital doubled down on Flip with a new $25M round. Now we're building Flip in North America, and we're looking for our first US-based marketer to help shape it from day one. Our mission: Connect every employee to everything they need in one touch. JOB DESCRIPTION As our first US-based marketer, you'll help take Flip from traction to scale in North America. This is a hands-on, hybrid role: you'll own our US event calendar, localize and create content for the US market, and work side by side with our US Sales team, including reaching out to target accounts yourself. Positioning and core content come from our marketing team in Europe. Your job is to make them land in the US and bring local market insights back into our global initiatives. With most of the team in Europe, you'll set your own priorities during US hours and sync closely once the overlap kicks in. If you'd rather help shape a market from an early stage than execute an established playbook, this role is for you. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT US Events & field marketing - Flip's presence at US trade shows and industry events end to end (HR Tech, internal comms, manufacturing and retail): booth and venue logistics, vendors, budget, promotion, on site execution, and follow up - Representing Flip on the ground and turning event activity into qualified conversations with Sales - Prebooking meetings ahead of each event, so the calendar is full before anyone gets on a plane Website localization & US digital presence - Marketing side localization of getflip.com http://getflip.com: page copy, proof points, CTAs, customer language, industry terminology, SEO and GEO keywords - Working with global web, brand, and product marketing so the US site is adapted for US search behavior and buying expectations, not just translated US market development - US buyer personas, competitor positioning, category language and industry trends, brought back to the global team so our messaging lands locally. Positioning and core content stay with HQ, the local read on them comes from you - Sales calls, objections, and win/loss insight turned into sharper campaigns and enablement - The US marketing operating rhythm, built from scratch: campaign calendar, event priorities, vendor coordination, repeatable reporting Pipeline, alongside Sales - Shared accountability with US Sales for marketing sourced and marketing influenced pipeline in North America - Direct outreach to target accounts together with our AE and BDRs. Everyone on the US team spends part of their day on it while we build the market - Target account prioritization, regional demand generation programs, and local campaigns (paid, email, social) with support from the global team - Reporting on US marketing performance against pipeline goals WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Must-haves: - 2 to 5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, content marketing, demand generation or a similar B2B role, ideally in B2B SaaS marketing to an HR audience. Drive and energy count for more here than years on the CV - Hands-on event execution: you have run or staffed a booth and know what it takes to make a trade show pay for itself - Comfortable working close to Sales and close to the customer, including reaching out to target accounts yourself - Strong copywriter with a genuine interest in localization, working knowledge of SEO, and curiosity about GEO/AI search optimization, plus broader marketing exposure across digital, campaigns, and demand generation - A startup or scale-up background, where you were used to moving fast and figuring things out without an established playbook. You set your own priorities during US hours with most of the team in Europe, and you enjoy using AI tools daily to write, research and work faster - Native-level US English with excellent written and spoken communication skills, based in the US with existing work authorization, and flexibility to travel regularly within the US for events plus 1 to 2 times a year to Europe for team offsites Nice-to-haves: - Prior experience being the "first" or one of the first marketing hires in a new region/market - Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) - Go-to-market experience in the manufacturing and/or retail industries, ideally with an existing network of industry contacts and relationships WHAT WE OFFER YOU - Work mode: We're remote-first, giving you flexibility to work from home. - Plan for the long run: Participate in our 401(k) plan with a dollar-for-dollar company match of up to 3% of your salary. - Stay healthy: We contribute 75 to 90% toward your medical and dental coverage at basic level. - Peace of mind: Company-funded basic disability coverage, fully paid by Flip. - Real time off: 20 days of paid vacation plus all public holidays, and a culture that encourages you to actually use them. - A market to build, and a steep learning curve: The US is right at the beginning for us. There is no established playbook here yet, and you help write the first one for events, local campaigns and how marketing works with Sales. You get exposure across the whole go-to-market picture rather than one narrow slice of it, and you work directly with the people deciding. - Real ownership: direct access to leadership, short decision paths and the room to shape what US marketing at Flip becomes - AI is how we work: Access to frontier AI tools is standard here, not something you request. We actively encourage heavy use across writing, research, campaigns and reporting, and you will learn faster because of it. - A team you'll actually meet: the whole company gets together twice a year (e.g. Stuttgart & Barcelona 2026) At Flip, everyone is welcome - no matter what gender you identify as or how old you are. Sexual identity, origin, religion, world view and disabilities do not influence your potential job at Flip. The most important thing is that YOU fit in!
