Your Job This Packaging Specialist position is responsible for the labeling, pouring, and packaging engineered resins manufactured for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) is available for this position. Key Tasks and Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. • Responsible for applying product and compliance labels onto cartridges • Responsible for pouring engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges • Responsible for bagging and boxing engineered resins into individual bags and cartons • Responsible for taping cartons, inserting into master box, and palletizing • Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with quality control • Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet or exceed the plant’s productivity and quality goals. • Provide firsthand support to Fulfillment on any manufacturing process issues • Maintain effective communication channels (oral and written) to all levels at plant Core Competencies • Good attendance record • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Solid problem-solving abilities. • Self-motivated with the ability to work on an independent basis. • Strong organizational and time management skills. Work Environment and Physical Demands: • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and particulate materials. • Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.
