As part of this program, you will work alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, and enterprise platforms to modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience. The work you perform will help ensure the organization has the technology, information, and capabilities needed to support its workforce and accomplish its mission. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Come join our diverse and growing team with lots of opportunities! • Collaborate with the existing team to provide development and support for mission-critical Security Applications, spanning various technologies across the stack. • Support and maintain 8 independent applications, utilizing front-end technologies such as Angular and Vue for user interface development. • Comfortable with being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor in software development to junior developers. • Work with a diverse range of backend technologies, including Node and Java, to ensure the seamless operation of critical applications. • Provide application development and production support, addressing issues and optimizing application performance for mission-critical functions. • Contribute to the design of Enterprise Applications, helping to create robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. • Code, test, and troubleshoot applications deployed within a cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and availability. • Engage in agile development practices using tools like Jira, collaborating closely with the team to deliver new functionality and modernize existing code bases. • participate in brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities for code base optimizations and innovative implementations that enhance the applications. • Utilize Git version control for efficient code management and collaboration with the team to provide high-quality products to the customer in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including security experts and stakeholders, to ensure the highest level of security and compliance in the development and support of mission-critical Security Applications. This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
