Job description

Change the way the world travels Join the GetYourGuide journey to connect people with unforgettable travel experiences around the world. Millions look to us for unique activities they can trust, and it’s all powered by our commitment to make every single journey extraordinary - including yours. Ready to unlock your potential with a community of fellow explorers? Find your next role at our Berlin HQ or one of our local offices around the globe, from New York to Bangkok. Head to getyourguide.careers to take the first step. About the role Strategic Partnerships is running a multi-vertical, multi-region portfolio with real scale ambitions. The channels are defined. The teams are in place. What's missing is the machine that makes it all repeatable, and the person obsessed with building it. This is a role for someone who chooses hard problems over safe ones, who sees an under-built operating system and can't help but fix it, and who measures success by whether the org around them got faster, sharper, and more capable. You sit at the center of how Partnerships executes: owning the planning cadences, performance frameworks, cross-functional machinery, and analytical infrastructure that lets a lean team manage a complex portfolio without losing speed or discipline. You'll work directly with the Head of Strategic Partnerships and lead the Operations team, translating direction into action and making sure nothing important falls between the cracks. The right person for this role gets energy from closing things - you don't hand off recommendations, you stay in the room until things are done. Your mission • We're building a repeatable, scalable operating system for Strategic Partnerships as we convert our pipeline into launched, multi-vertical distribution. • You'll own the planning cadences, financial frameworks, execution machinery, and cross-functional coordination that let a lean team manage a complex portfolio without losing speed or discipline. • You work directly with the Head of Strategic Partnerships, lead the Operations team, and own the core P&L and planning infrastructure. • Own the GMV forecast and P&L accountability for the partnership channel. Build the forecasting model, track actuals, and maintain forecast accuracy within 5-7%. • Translate data into investment decisions. • Design and run the annual and quarterly planning cycles end-to-end. Set targets, cascade OKRs, build financial frames, and run QBRs. Own the output, not the facilitation. • Build and maintain the operating system. Define the playbooks, checklists, readiness gates, and stage gates that channel teams use. Enforce hygiene and accountability. • Lead the Operations team. Manage and develop 3+ people. Make hiring and performance decisions. Build commercial instincts in your team. • Own strategic project execution. Take complex, ambiguous problems from framing through delivery. Unblock cross-functional dependencies. Don't escalate; solve. • Drive CRM and pipeline discipline. Define stage definitions, enforce coverage ratios, maintain data hygiene. Educate and hold commercial teams accountable. • Build channel economics models. Separate reported from incremental revenue. Reprice terms against measured floors. Model unit economics and guide investment decisions. Your toolkit: Must haves: • 7-10+ years combining strategy and operations. Deep expertise in ops roles at marketplaces, platforms, or high-growth tech. The consulting foundation helps. The operational experience matters more. • Owned a revenue or GMV forecast and been measured on it. You know what accountability to a number means. • Owned an annual or quarterly planning cycle as the owner of output. You set targets, designed OKRs, and were responsible for the results. • Runs CRM and pipeline as a discipline. You've defined stage gates, enforced coverage ratios, and held teams accountable to them. • Understands partner and channel economics. You can separate reported from incremental, reprice terms, and build a channel P&L from scratch. • Comfortable building and scaling forecast and unit economics models. You model scenarios, run sensitivity analysis, and pressure-test business cases in Excel. • Led an operations or analytics team of 3 or more people. You've made hiring and performance calls that mattered. • Cleared cross-functional dependencies you didn't own. You've unblocked projects by coordinating functions you don't manage. • Uses AI tools to improve your work. You've used Claude, ChatGPT, or similar with concrete examples of impact. Nice to have: • Travel or experiences industry background • Consulting background, then moved in-house • SaaS RevOps experience • Scaled teams from 0 to 10+ Your profile will not be considered if: • Have never owned a forecast or quota • Have only advised or facilitated with no output you were accountable for • Have managed only 1-2 people or relied on "cross-functional influence" instead of direct reports • Have used AI tools to do the work instead of to improve your thinking How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time. • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events • Monthly transportation and fitness budget • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities • Language reimbursement program • Health and wellness benefits And more… How to apply Submit your CV/resume in English using the form below.
