About the Role IEX is looking for a Head of SRE, Cross-Asset to lead our SRE organization as we scale our Equities business and launch Options. We’re looking for a deeply technical, intellectually curious leader and change agent who can challenge the status quo, develop strong teams and technical leaders, and evolve how we approach reliability across our trading platforms. This person will be responsible for the reliability and operational excellence of our production environments while helping define a scalable SRE model across asset classes. Direct exchange experience is a plus, but we are open to leaders who have owned sophisticated large-scale, complex, production engineering environments. Our environment includes Linux, Java, C++, Python, Rust, Bash, Ansible, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Azure, with predominantly on-prem production. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $250,000 and $300,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
