Job description
At Improbable, we build and scale ambitious AI and Web3 ventures shaping the next generation of the internet. We’re hiring for a venture building a next-generation blockchain for real-time, large-scale applications, designed to overcome the speed and cost limitations of traditional blockchain infrastructure. The technology is fast, cost-efficient and fully EVM-compatible, enabling developers, creators and communities to build immersive products with greater ownership and interoperability. The team is building a high-performance decentralised exchange designed to give traders fast, reliable and fair execution. The product is live. Now we need a Product Engineer to take it to the next level. About the role You will own the frontend product experience for the DEX, shaping how it looks, feels and performs for traders. This is not a narrow frontend engineering role. You will have significant influence over product decisions, user experience and the direction of future products. You may be a founding engineer, an early product engineer or someone who has helped build a trading product from the ground up. What matters is that you have owned real product decisions, shipped complex systems and understand what traders expect from the products they use. What you’ll do - Define and own the frontend product vision for the DEX. - Build fast, responsive and intuitive trading experiences. - Turn designs and product ideas into reliable, high-quality features. - Manage high-impact projects from early concept through to launch. - Make thoughtful decisions about architecture, performance and scalability. - Prototype quickly, validate ideas and strengthen the features that prove valuable. - Work closely with engineering, design and commercial teams to improve user and business outcomes. What we’re looking for - Proven experience building or scaling a DEX, trading platform or trading product. - Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React and Next.js. - A strong understanding of frontend performance, accessibility and user experience. - A product-builder mindset with strong ownership and self-direction. - The ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information. - Comfortable working with urgency in an early-stage, ambitious team. If you have built trading products and want to help create a faster, fairer DEX, apply. Improbable Candidate Privacy Policy https://www.improbable.io/candidate-privacy-policy
