About JumpCloud® JumpCloud® is the AI-powered unified IT management platform designed to secure the modern workforce. By consolidating identity, device, and access management, JumpCloud provides intelligent, secure IT that scales from human users to autonomous AI agents. We help organizations around the globe eliminate complexity and turn AI risk into an optimized advantage, ensuring the right people and agents have secure access to the right resources at all times. JumpCloud is Intelligent, Secure IT. As we continue to grow JumpCloud internationally, we are hiring software engineers to expand our product. You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in the success and development of our engineering teams in addition to growing your own career. About the Role: In this role, you will specifically work on the Device Management (MDM / Endpoint Management) vertical at JumpCloud, the role shifts focus from broad cloud microservices to deeply understanding operating system internals (macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android) and how they communicate with the cloud. In the Device Management vertical, you will build the software that allows IT administrators to remotely configure, patch, secure, and monitor thousands of endpoints from a single pane of glass. You will work on cross-OS device management engines, mobile device management / Declarative Device Management(MDM/DDM) telemetry, custom system agents, and zero-touch enrollment pipelines. This role balances local client-side programming (interacting with the OS) and building high-availability cloud APIs.
