Job description

WHAT IS KALSHI? Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more. We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position. - Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet. - Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets. Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets. ROLE ROADMAP Lifecycle marketing is one of the most important levers for driving activation, engagement, retention, and resurrection across Kalshi's growing suite of products. As we expand into new businesses and serve increasingly diverse user segments, we need sophisticated lifecycle programs that deliver the right message to the right user at the right time. This role will be responsible for building, launching, and optimizing lifecycle campaigns across email, push, in-app messaging, and other owned channels. You'll work closely with Product, Growth, and Data teams to identify opportunities, build personalized experiences, and create scalable systems that support long-term growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build, launch, and optimize email, push notification, and in-app messaging campaigns - Design customer journeys based on user behavior, acquisition source, lifecycle stage, and engagement patterns - Create lifecycle programs that drive activation, engagement, retention, resurrection, and monetization - Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies and personalized messaging frameworks - Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize conversion and engagement metrics - Build automated customer journeys and scalable lifecycle infrastructure - Develop testing frameworks across messaging, timing, segmentation, and channel strategy - Identify gaps in the customer experience and proactively propose lifecycle solutions WHAT YOU BRING - 3–7 years of lifecycle marketing experience - Experience building complex lifecycle campaigns based on user states, acquisition channels, and behavioral segmentation - Strong understanding of customer journey design, retention marketing, and lifecycle strategy - Experience building automated workflows and customer journeys in modern lifecycle platforms - Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making - Excellent written communication and messaging instincts - Ability to operate independently and proactively identify opportunities - Strong project management and organizational skills - Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment - Experience at a high-growth startup BONUS - Experience working with financial products, fintech, trading platforms, or consumer internet products - Experience using Customer.io http://Customer.io or similar lifecycle marketing platforms - Strong understanding of product-led growth and user activation frameworks - Experience building resurrection and re-engagement programs - Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle analytics - SQL or analytics experience - Experience working closely with Product and Growth teams NYC PAY TRANSPARENCY DISCLOSURE Salary Range: $150,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd love to hear from you and would welcome you to reach out to further discuss. OUR CULTURE Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. We are committed to our vision of building something big… but also useful: a product that brings more truth through the power of markets. Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1. COMMITMENT TO EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Kalshi is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe it is our collective responsibility to uphold these values and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to join us in our mission. All qualified applicants will be treated with respect and receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, uniform service, veteran status, age, or any other protected characteristic per federal, state, or local law. If you are passionate about what you do and want to use your talents to support our mission and values, we’d love to hear from you.
