Job description
Do you have a strong passion for travel, language, and quality? We are looking for a freelance German Localization Tester to help ensure our products and content, primarily for KAYAK, feel accurate, natural, and culturally relevant for local audiences. You will review localized experiences, identify linguistic and functional issues, and provide feedback that helps improve the traveler experience. Join our global localization team and help travelers discover, book, and enjoy the world’s most exciting destinations. In this role you will: • Test new features on our website and app • Perform regular sanity-check testing rounds across our website and app • Follow our style guides and glossary • Conduct LQA and functionality checks • Identify, document, and report localization issues and functional bugs Required Skills • Native-level proficiency in German required • Strong verbal and written command of English • Proven experience in website and/or app testing, with the ability to spot localization issues and functionality bugs • Familiarity with Jira and bug-filing workflows • Background in LQA and/or localization testing • Relevant academic or professional background in testing, translation, linguistics, or a related field • Quick learner who is comfortable adopting new tools and technologies in a fast-moving industry • Versatile multitasker who can manage workflows, information, and processes across different project types Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
