  • Experience working with multi–data center and hybrid cloud networking environments, with an emphasis on automation and software-driven control planes.
  • 5+ years of software development experience in C, Go, or Python for building network services, tooling, and automation.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment systems; strong familiarity with Git, and experience operating in GitOps-driven environments for infrastructure or network configuration.
  • Prior involvement in on-call rotations, incident response, and building tools to improve network or system reliability.
  • Experience deploying, operating, and automating applications on Kubernetes, including building supporting services or tooling for networking and lifecycle management.

Engineering at Lambda is responsible for building and scaling our cloud offering. Our scope includes the Lambda website, cloud APIs and systems as well as internal tooling for system deployment, management and maintenance. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help design and build the next generation of our network platform. In this role, you will develop the systems, services, and automation that power our software-defined network across data centers and cloud environments. You will work deeply within the Linux networking stack, build SDN integrations, and create the tools and services that make our network programmable, reliable, and scalable.
