Latitude AI (lat.ai) is building the future of Ford’s autonomy roadmap to make travel safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable for everyone. Bringing this vision to scale, our fully in-house developed hands-free ADAS platform will debut on the all-new Ford Fathom in 2027. When you join the Latitude team, you’ll work alongside leading experts across machine learning and robotics, cloud platforms, mapping, sensors and compute systems, test operations, systems and safety engineering – all dedicated to redefining the relationship between people and their vehicles for millions of customers. Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif. Meet the team: One of the keys to delivering an ADAS driving experience is an accurate, up-to-date HD map that describes the world around us. This map, collected onboard our vehicles and processed by the Data Services Operations team, must meet intense quality standards achieved through structured workflows, rigorous policy and attention to detail. Along with providing HD map production, the Map Operations team supports and enables data-driven decision making by providing GIS analysis to teams across Ford and Latitude. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Services Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality controlling map data, processing automation feedback, and crafting best practices related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This contract will be 1 year (12 months) in duration. What you’ll do: • Execute quality control functions in Latitude’s HD map data pipeline to ensure accuracy and consistency • Provide automation feedback to improve efficiency of Map Operations • Maintain and ensure the quality of GIS data and related processes • Analyzing spatial data through the use of mapping software What you'll need to succeed: • Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Experience in quality control and data management is preferred • Ability to work 100% at desk in a 2D and 3D virtual environment Nice to have: • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field • Previous experience working in an AI/self-driving setting or similar • Experience sourcing and federating third party data for spatial analysis Learn more about Latitude’s team, mission and career opportunities at lat.ai! #LI-NC1 We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
