Responsibilities: • Own your project, while checking in with other team members throughout the day with questions and updates • You leave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor) • You value reliability, ensured by testing (unit, integration and load tests) • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge • Continuous integration and deployment • Go home knowing that your work today is meaningfully improving the lives of every Lyft driver and every Lyft passenger! Experience: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science at a university in Mexico (required), with a graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028 (required). For any candidates who are master's students who worked between their bachelor's and master's programs: candidates should have less than 2 years of relevant full-time work experience • Available during Summer 2027 for an internship in Mexico City • Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals • Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Excellent communication skills • Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation • Ability to thrive in a startup environment • Experience with real-time technology problems • Contributions to open source projects • Experience working with databases • Experience solving real-time technology problems • Experience with mobile development Please submit your resume in English. Responsabilidades: • Reuniones breves diarias con pequeños equipos multifuncionales (scrum) • Pon en marcha tu proyecto, revisa en el día con otros miembros del equipo preguntas o actualizaciones. • Dejas mejor el código que como lo encontraste al inicio (refactorización progresiva) . • Evalúas la fiabilidad garantizada por las pruebas automatizadas (pruebas unitarias, de integración y de carga) • Participas en revisiones de código para garantizar la calidad del código y distribuyes el conocimiento • Integraciones e implementaciones continuas • Regresas a casa sabiendo que tu trabajo hoy está mejorando significativamente las vidas de todos los conductores y pasajeros de Lyft Experiencia: • Estar cursando una Licenciatura o Maestría en Ciencias de la Computación en una universidad en México (obligatorio), con fecha de graduación entre Diciembre de 2027 y Verano de 2028 (obligatorio). Para cualquier candidato que sea estudiante de maestría que haya trabajado entre sus programas de licenciatura y maestría: los candidatos deben tener menos de 2 años de experiencia laboral relevante de tiempo completo. • Disponible durante el Verano de 2027 para la pasantía en la Ciudad de México • Conocimientos de fundamentos de informática • Comprensión de las pruebas unitarias, de integración y de extremo a extremo • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación • Pasión por la comunidad, la sostenibilidad y/o el transporte • Capacidad para prosperar en un entorno de startup • Experiencia con problemas tecnológicos en tiempo real • Contribuciones a proyectos de código abierto • Experiencia trabajando con bases de datos • Experiencia resolviendo problemas tecnológicos en tiempo real • Experiencia en desarrollo móvil Por favor envíe su currículum en inglés.
