Job description

Most technologies promise the future. We're already building it. At MOTOR Ai, we've spent years doing what others said couldn't be done in Germany: developing Europe's first certifiable Level 4 autonomous driving system - one that doesn't just detect the world around it, but understands it. Rooted in cognitive neuroscience and driven by a team that bridges disciplines, we're not waiting for autonomous mobility to arrive. We're the reason it will. Tasks • Support the development, integration, and testing of software and automotive systems • Take ownership of smaller projects and contribute to day-to-day engineering activities • Participate in on-site testing and field assignments, including travel for 2–4 weeks at a time • Document test results, analyze findings, and help improve our development and testing processes • Work with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows while collaborating closely with an experienced engineering team Requirements • You're currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field • You have some hands-on experience with software development or automotive systems through your studies, university projects, internships, or personal projects • Technology is more than just your major - you enjoy building, experimenting, and learning new things, whether through side projects, open source, hackathons, or your own ideas • You enjoy taking ownership, working independently, and finding practical solutions to challenges • You have a valid driver's license (Category B driving licence) and are excited to join on-site testing trips lasting 2–4 weeks when needed • Experience with Linux and ROS2 is a plus, but we're also happy if you're eager to learn • You're curious about modern AI developer tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies, and enjoy using them to build better software • Business-level English; German would be an advantage Benefits • Working with cutting-edge technology in the field of autonomous driving • A dynamic, innovative and supportive working environment • We provide you with high-quality equipment for your day-to-day work • With us, you’ll play an active role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility • Team spirit is a top priority for us – we celebrate our shared successes at regular team and company events • Whether it’s fashion, beauty, travel or culture – you’ll enjoy numerous discounts through our partner, Corporate Benefits At our new premises, we place great importance on getting to know one another and working together to drive our vision forward. Our international team is growing and working together on this exciting mission. Face-to-face collaboration is the key to success, which is why we have decided not to become a fully remote company. We ask recruitment consultancies and agencies not to submit candidate profiles without our prior express request. Any candidate profiles submitted without a prior written placement agreement signed by both parties shall be deemed to have been submitted unsolicited. No entitlement to placement fees or other charges shall arise from their use or from the subsequent recruitment of the candidate. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
