Job description

NISC develops and implements enterprise-level and customer-facing software solutions for over 960+ energy cooperatives and communication organizations across North America. This position reports to a Team Lead and will gain exposure to electrical distribution analysis, electrical based software, operational tools, and Geographical Information Systems over the course of the summer. To Learn more about NISC's internships, click HERE. **Current applications submitted will be under consideration for Summer 2027 (May - August)** Job Duties: • Job shadow and assist Project Managers/Implementers • Assist in setting up member project information • Assist in Member and Internal Documentation (consistency and format) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred: • Strong customer orientation. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Basic understanding of power distribution systems. • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. • Ability to effectively adapt to change. • Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts. • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethical behavior, and confidentiality. • Commitment to NISC's Statement of Shared Values.
