Job description

The Junior Executive, Retail (Support) is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations across West Malaysia, ensuring operational efficiency, resolving issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role also supports retail expansion, develops SOPs, analyzes operational performance, and drives continuous process improvements to enhance service quality and productivity Job Responsibility • Lead and guide Retail Operations team for West Malaysia • Manage and monitor daily operations of Retail operations for West Malaysia. • Lead problem-solving activities. Be the go-to person for Retail operations in West Malaysia. • Make decisions and execute plans based on performance data to improve operational efficiency such as turnaround time, quality or cost efficiency based on the operational standards. • Measure the effectiveness of all operational approaches and initiatives by placing performance measures to continually monitor the operational performance processes. • Execute the formulation of improved approaches and strategies that facilitate the achievement of operations targets. • Collaborate with other departments (eg. Customer Service, Key Account Manager, Warehouse) to follow up, and if required, set up standard operating procedures. • Develop and test new operational processes on new services. • Pivotal roles in any Retail expansion projects in West Malaysia • Supporting roles in any new projects involving the Retail team. • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for any Retail team-related process Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business (Preferred) • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics management or coordination. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs especially in Excel and Google Drives. • Personable and a good communicator in both written & oral English. Other language skills will be a plus. • Self-starter with good initiative, and persistence to see us through this challengeExtremely proactive, organised and responsible • A strong sense of ownership in his/her roles and scopes
