Role Octus's Fundamentals Analyst program offers a structured entry point into financial data and credit markets for hard working, intellectually curious, and motivated candidates. Working within the Fundamentals platform, you will spread and standardise financial statements from debt issuers into Excel-based models, build and maintain capital structures, calculate credit metrics, and ensure data quality and consistency across our coverage universe. You will develop a solid grounding in financial statement analysis, accounting, capital structure mechanics, and credit metrics through hands-on, detail-oriented work. You will contribute to a collaborative and action-oriented team environment. Please note that for the first six months, candidates based in Bogotá will be expected to work a 7:00 am – 4:00 pm local time shift to support training and ensure overlap with the European team. Working hours will subsequently normalise to a 9:00 am – 6:00 pm schedule as the analyst ramps up and becomes fully autonomous in their role, although occasional early starts may still be required on an ad hoc basis thereafter.
