ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an AI Engineer who will be focused on building and optimizing our agentic AI analyst, giving you the chance to tune agent behavior, measure agent performance, and add capabilities. You'll be working on a team with deep experience in the field, and you'll have the autonomy to prioritize and solve problems by yourself or in collaboration with other members of the team. All software engineers at Omni operate across our technology stack to solve customer problems, and our engineering culture is focused on shipping quickly and iteratively while maintaining high bars for performance and quality. We develop with AI and coding agents, but we expect our engineers to know when to trust their agent, when not to, and when to not even bother asking. ABOUT YOU - Strong technical and communication skills - 3-10+ years of experience building production software, proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript - Strategic thinking and the ability to balance business and product goals with velocity and engineering excellence - Hands-on experience shipping LLM systems in production, working on some or all of these topics: agent harnesses, context management, retrieval, eval, or post-training. - Experience doing data analysis NICE TO HAVES - Experience building data products and AI-ready interfaces - Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift OUR STACK: - TypeScript - React with Remix - Kotlin / Java - AWS WHY JOIN US - Passionate, supportive team with extensive experience in the space (including founders from Looker and Stitch Data) all working together to win as a team - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) Plan (for US-based roles) - Unlimited PTO Omni is an equal opportunity employer.
