Responsibilites • Build autonomous vehicles by: • Helping fabricated components • Helping build harnesses • Integrating sensors, compute, harnesses onto the vehicles • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve mechanical & electrical issues. • Maintain high standard of safety and organization in our lab • Integrating systems including AC/DC high and low voltages, structural components, coolant, CAN, and scripting. • Provide careful, detail-oriented documentation during tests, and inspections • Communicate technical questions and findings in a concise and descriptive manner • Diagnose and troubleshoot test setup errors and failures. • Willing to travel to support internal and external testing plans Required Skills • Creative approach to problem solving, with willingness to learn and try new things • Can quickly adapt to learning new technologies • Is self-directing, able to work across the entire organization to collect parts and information to execute job responsibilities • Ability to work both independently and with team members • Methodical and diligent, works with a strong sense of quality and craft • Excellent documentation and written communication • Mechanical fabrication skills, machine shop experience, expert with hand and power tools • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude – Practice disassembly and reassembly of electromechanical systems without instructions • Experience making wiring harnesses by way of soldering, crimping, following wiring diagrams etc. Your opportunities joining PlusAI Work, learn and grow in a highly future-oriented, innovative and dynamic field.
