This is not a junior learning role: we need someone who can quickly understand production systems, solve problems independently, and ship reliable work. The core technical base is Python, SQL, and Bash. Experience with Google Tag Manager, pixel/conversion setup, and JavaScript is required. Airbyte and Airflow are nice to have, but not mandatory. The role also includes exposure to internal monitoring platforms built with brokers, microservices, alerting, and observability tools, helping you grow system design skills through real production problems. KEY SUCCESS FACTORS Proactivity: we need someone who notices issues, asks questions early, follows through, and takes ownership without waiting for detailed instructions. High availability: on release days or during urgent tracking/payment setup, you should be ready to help in the evening when needed. Delivery mindset: the goal is not only to learn, but to deliver reliable work across data engineering, marketing systems, payment flows, and internal platforms. LOCATION Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
