THE OPPORTUNITY: At Salesloft, our Senior Payroll Specialist will be pivotal to our company's success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Accounting team and will be our strategic business partner, working cross-functionally to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for our global employees. This individual will be a strategic contributor to our public-readiness journey, maintaining strong payroll internal control procedures. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will develop policies and a compliance framework that enable proper internal controls and efficiency, and you will play a significant role in implementing a third-party global payroll provider. On a day-to-day basis, you will take ownership of developing, implementing, and maintaining best practices and procedures within the payroll process. Specifically, you will: • Manage all aspects of payroll operations, including processing via our third-party provider for our global employees (across the USA, Mexico, UK, and India) • Support the accounting team in ensuring all payroll transactions are reconciled to the correct departments and general ledger accounts • Serve as the go-to person for all payroll inquiries from employees and business leaders • Work closely with People Ops, FP&A, Accounting, and other business leaders to ensure the accuracy of payroll data • Partner with the Director of Tax to stay current with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation regarding payroll compliance In addition to working with amazing colleagues who live our core values every day, you will have the opportunity to maximize Salesloft's value by partnering with the business to drive positive outcomes. You will be the company's primary point of contact for all payroll matters, including payroll policy, discrepancy investigation, and serving as liaison between employees and our third-party payroll processors. The Senior Payroll Specialist will be a key member of the Accounting and Finance department and a critical part of the financial accounting and operations of the business. This individual will ensure the company's payroll is accurate, compliant, complete, and timely, working closely with People Operations, Financial Accounting, and our third-party payroll provider.
