KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills (and routers) to kitand airbrush fiberglass & foam cores  - Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360), and CAM files (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, or NX) to produce accurate components to spec.  - Collaborate with mechanical engineers, composites technicians, and systems integrators to ensure fit, function, and manufacturability of parts.  - Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and fixturing strategies for high-accuracy work on composite materials.  - Maintain CNC equipment, tools, and workspaces in a clean and safe condition.  - Perform in-process quality checks and post-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.  - Contribute to ongoing process improvements in CNC workflows, fixture design, and composite part accuracy.  QUALIFICATIONS: - Required:  - 3+ years of experience as a CNC programmer/operator at a high-rate boat building factory  - Strong experience with CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX, or equivalent)  - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T  - Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment  - Strong attention to detail and self-motivation  - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs  - Ability to identify differences between different fiberglass types and designs  - Preferred:  - Familiarity with 5-axis machines and multi-axis toolpath strategies  - Prior experience in the maritimecomposite manufacturing industries  BENEFITS: - Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services - Saronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents - Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care - Saronic pays 99% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents - Time Off: Generous PTO and Holidays - Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents - Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses - Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan - Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success - Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage - Additional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office      If this role is based in the United States, it requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
