POSITION OVERVIEW • Position: Field Service IT Engineer • Job Type: Full Time On-site with Travel • Location: Columbia, MD • Clearance Requirements: TS SCI Eligible and ability to pass CI polygraph • Travel: 50% Description: We are seeking a Field Service IT Engineer to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking and communications equipment at government customer sites. This role requires a hands-on technical professional who is comfortable traveling to customer locations, working in highly sensitive operational environments, and performing both IT/networking tasks and light general contracting work required to complete field installations. The ideal candidate has experience installing Ethernet and fiber-based networking infrastructure, mounting and securing equipment, building or modifying enclosures, performing basic electrical work, and completing site-ready installations in accordance with customer requirements, safety standards, and project timelines. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
