Job description

Position Title: MDU Growth Lead Department: MDU Sales Reports To: MDU Sales Market Manager – SoCal FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly + Commission + Benefits) Pay Scale: $28 - $31 hourly PLUS Commission Location: LA/SoCal Market Position Summary: The MDU Growth Lead is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing the SoCal MDU Growth team in support of Sonic’s fiber sales initiatives within multi-dwelling unit (MDU) communities. This role combines frontline sales leadership with hands-on field execution, including canvassing, side-by-side selling, sales coaching, and performance accountability. The ideal candidate is a motivated field leader who can inspire and develop team members while driving consistent sales results. This individual will support daily sales execution, provide real-time coaching and feedback, identify growth opportunities, and communicate actionable insights and reporting to the MDU Sales Market Manager. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: • Full-time, 40 hours per week • Evening and weekend availability required based on business needs and the team’s canvassing schedule Travel: This position requires regular travel throughout the LA market. Team members should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and walking for extended periods while canvassing. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; key/type. The employee is consistently required to stand; walk; move; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
