Why you’ll love this role As a Software Development Engineer in Test, You will be part of a highly dynamic and innovative quality engineering team working on the latest technologies in an exciting fast-growing company. We are looking for a mid-level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). You will be responsible for finding,analyzing, and reporting defects and other software issues. SDET will work collaboratively with the development and product management teams to ensure our software is free of defects and meets established quality standards and system requirements. Your primary focus will be manual testing as well as automated testing. The successful candidate possesses a strong sense of curiosity, demonstrates attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an interest in continuous learning. Fraud team is responsible for designing systems and deploying the latest tech to detect fraud patterns and ensure there is no unintended or malicious behavior on the platform to ascertain the safety of our users. It also ensures users are correctly authenticated and authorized for accessing the systems. What you’ll do ● Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products ● Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on new and existing products ● Review functional and technical documentation to define requirements and create clear, well-structured test cases and plans, ensuring they align with business needs and best practices. ● Execute manual test cases and report test results by performing comprehensive testing functional regression, end-to-end, database, web services, etc as desired ● Drive software testing best practices, including performance, load, and security testing ● Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases. Leverage AI exhaustively to keep the test suite up to date. ● Apply GitHub best practices and work within CI/CD processes. Run automated tests in pipeline and schedule. ● Work with the organisational QA team to build product knowledge, resolve challenges, and share results. ● Design, create, document, and implement test strategies, automation, tools, and processes. About You ● 4+ years experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques:Node, TypeScript, JS, Java, RDBMS, Rest APIs ● 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for Backend (predominantly), Web & Mobile Applications ● Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills ● Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment ● Mentor junior members of the team About StockX StockX is proud to be a Detroit-based technology leader focused on the large and growing online market for sneakers, apparel, accessories, electronics, collectibles, trading cards, and more.
