  • Proficiency in AWS core services (IAM, EC2, S3) and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
  • Fluency in an object-oriented language (Python preferred) combined with solid scripting/templating skills (Bash, Go).
  • Hands-on background with build tools (Bazel, CMake, Maven, Gradle) and code coverage analysis (Parasoft, SonarQube, CodeQL).
  • Intermediate competency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD) and workflow tools (Temporal, AWS Step Functions, Argo Workflows).
  • Solid understanding of logging and monitoring ecosystems (Datadog, CloudWatch, New Relic).

Job description

About the Role As a Software Engineer II on the Build Tools team at Torc Robotics, you will serve as the automation backbone for our entire engineering organization. In this highly impactful DevOps/Full-Stack role, you will take ground-floor ownership of the tools and infrastructure that directly drive our release velocity and system reliability. You will be responsible for running real production infrastructure, building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, and writing scalable code to support the teams shipping our safety-critical autonomous vehicle (AV) software. We are looking for an engineer with strong Python skills and deep, hands-on experience with containerization and cloud architecture.
