You’re responsible for making sure the homeowner receives a professional installation and an exceptional experience from the moment you arrive until the job is complete. You will: • Install residential HVAC systems safely and efficiently • Deliver clean, professional, high-quality installations • Follow Sierra installation processes and quality standards • Protect the customer’s home and property • Communicate professionally with homeowners • Represent Sierra Air Conditioning & Plumbing with pride and professionalism Key Responsibilities Installation & Technical Execution • Install residential air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, package units, mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment • Install and modify ductwork as required • Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, thermostats, controls, ventilation systems, and accessories • Safely remove and replace existing HVAC equipment • Perform equipment start-ups and verify proper system operation • Perform brazing, wiring, evacuation, charging, and mechanical assembly • Read and interpret manufacturer installation instructions and wiring diagrams • Properly use gauges, meters, vacuum pumps, recovery equipment, and installation tools • Verify airflow, electrical connections, refrigerant requirements, drainage, and equipment operation • Follow manufacturer specifications, local codes, and Sierra installation standards • Identify installation concerns and communicate them to leadership immediately Customer Experience • Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners • Explain the installation process and answer customer questions • Protect flooring, walls, furniture, landscaping, and other customer property • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Clean the jobsite thoroughly before leaving • Review installed equipment with the homeowner when required • Deliver a five-star customer experience on every installation Performance & Accountability • Take ownership of installation quality • Complete assigned installations efficiently and professionally • Maintain productivity without sacrificing workmanship • Complete required job documentation, photos, and paperwork accurately • Follow company processes consistently • Accept coaching and feedback from leadership • Continuously improve technical and customer-service skills Safety & Standards • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements • Properly use personal protective equipment • Maintain company tools and equipment • Keep company vehicles clean and organized • Maintain a professional appearance • Follow Sierra processes and quality standards on every job • Immediately report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or installation issues Team Collaboration • Work closely with Lead Installers, Install Managers, Warehouse, Parts, Dispatch, and other field teams • Support teammates to complete installations safely and efficiently • Communicate job progress and potential delays • Help train and support less-experienced installers when appropriate • Maintain a positive, professional attitude • Contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record • Ability to pass required pre-employment screening, including background check, drug screen, and MVR • Residential HVAC installation experience preferred • Strong mechanical aptitude • Strong attention to detail • Pride in workmanship • Ability to follow established processes • Strong communication and customer-service skills • Dependable and punctual • Coachable and willing to learn • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to safely lift and move HVAC equipment • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments • Ability to work in Las Vegas weather conditions • Willingness to work overtime and additional hours during peak seasons as needed Preferred Qualifications • EPA Certification • OSHA 10 Certification • Residential HVAC installation experience • Ductwork fabrication and installation experience • Heat pump installation experience • Mini-split installation experience • High-efficiency equipment experience • ServiceTitan experience • Brazing experience • Electrical and low-voltage experience • Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation procedures Important This is a customer-facing field position. Technical ability matters-but so do professionalism, communication, accountability, and the way you represent Sierra inside a customer’s home. Experience Residential HVAC Installation: Experience preferred; consideration may be given to candidates with strong foundational HVAC knowledge and relevant hands-on experience.
