Job description
This January 2027, we will host our annual Women's Winternship at Virtu's EU Headquarters in Dublin. Our Winternship programme offers students an exciting inside view into the world of global trading and the impact Virtu has on the global financial markets. As a Wintern, you will learn about how we trade at Virtu, our technology and trading tools and even work on your own trading project - all while mentored by experts in the industry. • One week programme, from 4th to 8th January 2027, which will be hosted in our Dublin office • Each day will be a combination of lectures, trading games, and fun programming challenges • Engaging social events to get to know our team and culture • A final group contest REQUIREMENTS: • Exceptional female talent at second and third year level • Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome) with preference for Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics. • Outstanding quantitative problem‐solving skills and mathematical aptitude • Intermediate programming experience (Python preferred) • A highly motivated team player: Genuine, well rounded, curious, collaborative person who can work towards collective goals • Interest in a career in financial services • Graduating year of 2028 or 2029 THE PROCESS: After applicants pass an initial resume screening, an online programming test may be sent via email.
