About the Role   WebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for our Earned Media team! Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (or will soon have one!), a track record of strong academics, and is excited about all things project management and content strategy. Related experience is awesome to have, but never required - we'll train you on everything you need to know.   The Qualifications: Who You Are   Education: A Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome! GPA: 3.4 or above (Upcoming grads are encouraged to apply - we interview and hire up to a year in advance!)   Suggested Experience and Skills: Prior experience working, in any field (for example: a part-time job, summer job, internship, etc) Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical and research skills Digital marketing experience (a bonus!) Blogging or copywriting experience (a bonus!) Experience coordinating the schedules and deadlines of others (a bonus!) Coaching/mentoring experience (a bonus!)   Tools/Technical Skills: (Not required, but awesome to have!) Excel/Google Suite Google Analytics Basic HTML Familiarity with using AI tools   Qualities and Traits: You're a top-notch communicator, both written and verbal You're a people person, and love finding common ground with others You're organized, timely, and able to juggle multiple projects at once You're interested in the web, and like keeping up with new technology You're professional, dependable, and self-motivated You take pride in your work and always strive for high-quality results You work with urgency and enjoy getting things done You're proactive when it comes to solving problems You're a lifelong learner, and are always looking to stretch and grow your skills You love thinking both creatively and analytically, and love using data to make decisions   Don't stress if you don't have every experience listed - we hire for soft skills, and believe hard skills can be trained. If the job responsibilities sound interesting, and these traits sound like you, then we want to hear from you!   The Job Responsibilities: What You'll Learn to Do   Mentor a Team of Writers/Editors (About 40% of your day)   Mentor a team of 12+ copywriters/editors, providing regular feedback, coaching towards goals, and helping each build a career they find fulfilling Build genuine, trusting relationships with your team, and create an environment where people feel safe asking for help, admitting mistakes, and talking openly about where they need to grow Manage team workloads, track deadlines, and ensure your team is set up for success Hold regular 1-on-1 check-ins with your writers/editors, and lead performance and career development calls Identify individual strengths and areas for growth amongst your team, and support team members in setting and achieving their goals Extend culture and connection to every team member, whether they're down the hall or in another time zone     Manage the Content Production Process (About 30% of your day)   Assign projects by matching the right writer to the right project, and ensure timely completion from start to finish Own the outcome of every project in your queue - from overseeing its deadlines to making sure it accomplishes the client's goals Set writers up for success by providing them with all the info they need: audience, brand voice, intended outcome, and requirements Review incoming project specs and client notes before writing actually begins - notice where details are thin, and chase down info that may be missing Hold the team accountable to client brand notes, page goals, and quality standards Process client revision requests, and reassign projects as needed Answer questions from writers and marketers, and clear snags before they turn into delays   Provide Team Support and Promote Operational Excellence (About 20% of your day)   Plan and execute process improvements designed to simplify workflows, support team efficiency, and raise the quality of work produced Review team output data (turnaround time, revision rates, client feedback) to spot trends and identify areas for potential growth Contribute to team standards, playbooks, training, and documentation to give our writers the tools to get it right the first time Lead and contribute to special projects to support team operations, content quality, and client satisfaction Collaborate with peers in similar roles, taking ownership of shared tasks and responsibilities   Communicate with Internal WebFX Teams (About 10% of your day)   Act as liaison between copywriters and marketers, offering support and resolving issues related to projects Maintain clear communication with WebFX marketers regarding project progress and client needs   The Benefits: What You'll Get   Comprehensive, On-the-Job Training and Career Development Initial "career kickstart" training to learn foundational hard skills over the first few months on the job Ongoing advanced training sessions from industry experts as you progress further in your role Regular team Lunch-and-Learns in our on-site training amenities   Career Growth and Upward Progression Paths All our Jr-level roles represent the first step on an upward promotional path within WebFX Merit-based promotions are abundant for new team members who meet or exceed performance metrics Regular 1-on-1 check-ins with a manager to support career growth   Potential promotional path for Jr. Managing Editor of Client Content: Digital Content Specialist Digital Content Analyst Digital Content Consultant Lead Digital Content Consultant Sr. Digital Content Consultant Master Digital Content Consultant Digital Copywriting Team Lead   In-Person Experience Alongside Our Team of Industry Experts This position is based fully in-office at our riverside campus in Harrisburg, PA, with opportunities for this to evolve as Fxers advance in their career tenure.   Compensation $50,000 - $52,500 (potentially higher based on work experience)
