We are committed to hiring the best of the best, and in return, we offer a world-class, truly unique employee experience that is rare within our industry.   The Data Warehouse Platforms Engineering Shared Services & Software Development (DWSV) team is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join a large, complex product development environment. This role focuses on supporting all aspects of agile software design and development for products deployed across large-scale compute clusters. Responsibilities include designing and building new capabilities, conducting testing, optimizing performance, and supporting ongoing operations and sustainment.   Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.   Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). Capabilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications • Support full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, integration, testing, and troubleshooting • Contribute to system enhancements, performance improvements, and operational stability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused capabilities • Support CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems Required Qualifications • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly • Eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field is highly desired – Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience – Master’s degree may substitute for four (4) years of experience – Acceptable fields include Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar Required Technical Skills • Must possess one of the following cloud certifications: – AWS Certified Developer – Associate – AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional – Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) • Experience with full-stack development (Java and JavaScript) • Experience with Java, Spring, and JUnit • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue.js) • Experience working with REST APIs and JSON • Experience with Elasticsearch/ELK and Redis • Familiarity with MongoDB • Experience with Docker and containerization • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools • Experience with AWS cloud services • Experience with Git or GitLab • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins) Desired Technical Skills • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) The Benefits Package • Wyetech believes in generously supporting employees as they prepare for retirement.
