Software Architect who will own the design, delivery, and evolution of our AWS infrastructure and associated application services. The ideal candidate blends deep AWS expertise (Lambda, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch, etc.) with hands on Java and Python development skills and can mentor a small team of junior engineers while driving architectural best practices across the program. Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply, and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders ***This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)*** Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
